Color Collage Poem

When i was a young girl i would run around the back yard filled with bright colored dandelions
I would run with my eyes closed and the hot sun shining on my freckled face
The glares that shine on the outside of my mustard colored circle sunglasses
would blind me when i would look down at the ground to make sure i didn't trip on my shoelaces
Later on that day after i took my bath, i would sit in my duckling towel
waiting for my pajamas to run through the dryer so they'd be nice and warm during the cold nights
And once i would put on my pajamas and drank my glass of warm apple cider
I would sit around the warm yellow-orange fire with my dog Rascal and i would remember how bright that day was.
